Inspiration—a breath of fresh air
About six years ago I was struggling with what I believed was a lifethreatening condition. For about a month I was unable to sleep lying down in bed. I had to sit up on the couch every night, and I got very little sleep. I would cough so hard that at times I was unable to get my breath.
My co-workers were concerned and urged me to seek medical treatment. But because I had been relying on God as my only physician for 53 years, I felt confident that prayer was the best solution. So I assured my co-workers that I was receiving the best treatment.
After praying for myself for some time, I called a Christian Science practitioner to pray for me. The practitioner assured me that I would be healed, and that God would reveal to me what I needed to know. I accepted this, and listened for God's direction.
