A closer relationship with God
I was in a desperate situation. My marriage of three years was unraveling, and my husband and I were separated. And to make matters worse, I was suffering from a badly infected thumb. I was in my third year of nurses' training at a Christian Science care facility, and didn't see how I could complete my training under these conditions.
I prayed like I'd never prayed before.
