YOUR LETTERS

Thanks for the article "A mom finds the right school for her son and loses her anxiety" (February 19). I live in an area that is said to have the largest per capita number of private schools in the country. Almost every conversation with other parents includes the topic of getting into the "right" private school. February is a particularly stressful month because the students have applied to the schools, and they and their parents are waiting to hear if they've been accepted. The idea that "education or individual growth isn't a matter of adding something from outside, but of God's unfolding what is within us" is very comforting. Thank you for printing articles that are so easy to share.

I'd like to commend Emily Laclau (February 26) for sharing her journey from sense to Soul. It requires moral courage to expose error, and she has done it with simplicity, honesty, and openness. Any hungering soul faced with similar challenges will be encouraged from reading Emily's interview.
