RESURRECTION TODAY
In Minneapolis, correspondent Jan Bailey spoke with a Lutheran minister, a nurse, a computer programmer/systems analyst, and a single mother. Their comments and experiences point to a type of modern day resurrection—a triumph over adversity.
I think that crises come throughout our lives. I think that's what we're here for—to learn how to deal with those crises and get through them.
During the time of my divorce, I was living in an apartment with a three-month-old child, who was sick a lot. He was up every three hours. Right on schedule. So I was always lacking sleep. We didn't have enough money to pay the rent every month. I never knew how we were gonna get our next pack of diapers. We didn't have money for anything extra whatsoever. My son wore a pink snowsuit for months because we didn't have anything else.
