Resurrection, day by day

Jesus' resurrection nearly two millenniums ago was a unique event in history—one that Christians around the world celebrate with awe each year at Easter time.

In a broader sense, though, resurrection happens every day when, in the middle of a mess of some sort, beauty and possibility suddenly surprise you. When, in a dead-end situation, hope ignites and quiet courage takes root. When a door of opportunity swings open. When a bruised relationship—or business or body—heals.

You've probably seen innumerable "resurrections" in your life. I have, too. Both large and little ones. Like what happened in an apartment I once had.
