WANTED: A HOME THAT ALLOWS PETS
Recently I was involved in selling the house my husband and I had lived in for sixteen years. I was looking for a smaller place for myself and my only companion, a toy poodle. Most apartments would not allow pets. The sale of my house was also stalled because the couple who really wanted the place had no down payment.
I felt that there had to be an answer and that God would provide it. Throughout my life, I have found that no matter how intractable a problem seems to be, when I turn to God, divine Mind, I know what to do.
I prayed to realize that—as the Bible makes clear—God is always at hand. He is all-knowing divine Mind and ever-present Love. As God's spiritual idea, we reflect, or express, this Mind. Through my prayer, I understood that home is actually an idea of divine Love. Beauty, safety, shelter, and other desirable qualities emanate from God and are ever present.
