Burns healed through prayer
Many years ago, after I had just purchased a new camera, I was firmly pressing the bulb into its socket, and the flash went off, burning my fingers. I later learned that the flash temperature reaches several hundred degrees, hot enough to melt and distort the surface of the bulb, the very surface I had been pressing.
I immediately began quietly repeating truths to myself that I had learned in Sunday School and since then. I knew that there are no accidents in God's kingdom, that I was God's child and His reflection, and that no burn or other impediments could harm God, and therefore they could not harm His reflection. Almost immediately the pain went away, and there were no aftereffects, just joy and gratitude for such a rapid and inspiring healing.
