To a new friend

Maybe you think you'd rather be alone and not talk to anybody at school. But I've been trying to break through and make friends with you. And I've enjoyed talking to you.

Maybe you're afraid that you're going to say something wrong and the whole school will start laughing at you. But we think you should believe in yourself more—and feel free to talk to new friends like me. Really, you're very special to God. And He'll give you the right words to speak freely.

God is your best friend, and He'll always be with you. He loves you. And we believe that if you let people really get to know the real you—the you God made—they'll start to love you, too! :)
