Modern-day devil destruction
Silencing complaint
Have you ever had one of those days when you just didn't want to do everything that had to be done, and to top it all off, once you got started, everything went wrong? Soon you feel you've earned the right to be irritable.
Well, that's the kind of night I had once. I was at work on the evening shift after a very relaxing vacation. Not only did I not want to be there, but once I arrived, everyone was either sick or grumpy. I was irritated by everything and everyone. By the time I went home, I was too disgusted to sleep well. I woke to find I had a fever and sore throat—very much like the symptoms a co-worker had displayed. I wanted to call in sick for the next night and just avoid the whole thing.
But a gentle message—a little pure tap on the mental shoulder from God—reminded me that I know better than to accept all those bad ideas. It was time to start thinking more spiritually.
