COLORFUL CONFETTI AND THE DIVERSITY OF GOD'S CHILDREN

I love confetti, the various colors dancing in the air, vibrating with excitement. For me, the expectation of living in the United States held a similar excitement. I hail from Japan, a land where the culture is distinct homogeneous. The United States promised, and has delivered. a smorgasbord of various ethnic recipes and viewpoints.

Unity does not mean homogeneity.
