YOUR LETTERS
"The articles and testimonies ... have fed me for many years and continue to inspire me daily."
I have been wanting to write to say how much I like the new format in the Sentinel. I have so enjoyed reading "To Our Readers," "Your Letters," and "Items of Interest" in each issue. Thank you for these features. As for the articles and testimonies, they have fed me for many years and continue to inspire me daily. I thank everyone who has a part in putting this publication together.
I was interested in one of the "Items of Interest" in the June 21 issue. A recent survey among college freshmen showed that when asked whom they'd like to dine with—anyone in any era—the No. 1 answer was Jesus. I am aware of the outreach of our youth for spiritual guidance, and I trust these students can be encouraged to enjoy a spiritual meal with Jesus by reading quietly to themselves the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew, chapters 5–7) each week and then endeavoring to live by its teachings each day. This will give them guidance for their behavior and activities. They could not have a better spiritual guide no matter what religious denomination they adhere to.
