How forgiveness heals
Forgiving isn't so hard to do when we realize that nothing can force us to hate or hurt someone else, since we are all truly the children of God, Love. Matt had two experiences proving that forgiveness, not anger or revenge, leads to healing.
Matt was helping his dad mow the grass. There always seemed to be pastures to cut in the summer. He didn't mind, because he got to drive the lawn tractor, and that was fun. One afternoon, though, while cutting grass, the mower went over a nest of yellow jackets. The startled insects swarmed all over Matt, stinging him in many places. His dad carried him into the house to his mom.
