Seeking—and finding—God in every corner of the globe
Humanity's spiritual quest
The worldwide hunger for spirituality in these times is well documented both in the sales of religious and spiritually-oriented books and in the earnest searching for a higher meaning in human life.
Recently, our colleagues at The Herald of Christian Science interviewed spiritual thinkers around the world. These individuals, who follow a variety of religious traditions, were asked to speak about spirituality from both an individual and a global perspective. We are grateful to the Herald for allowing us to present excerpts from their much longer report. The full text is available in the June 1999 issue of the French, German, Spanish, and Portuguese editions of the Herald.
