The worldwide hunger for spirituality in these times is well documented both in the sales of religious and spiritually-oriented books and in the earnest searching for a higher meaning in human life.

Recently, our colleagues at The Herald of Christian Science interviewed spiritual thinkers around the world. These individuals, who follow a variety of religious traditions, were asked to speak about spirituality from both an individual and a global perspective. We are grateful to the Herald for allowing us to present excerpts from their much longer report.
