Spiritual watchfulness eliminates pain
One day recently, I wanted to go on my usual daily walk, but my knees ached terribly. I could barely get out of bed and stand. I skipped the walk that day (no pun intended), thinking maybe the pain would just go away. All day long, I struggled to do my daily chores and duties, hoping I would be better the next day.
Later that day Emily and I took our daily walk. I was free of pain.
