Health cover—God's own realm

Flu quickly healed

I was driving to work one day when I noticed a billboard advertising an herbal remedy from a local health food shop. It offered this remedy as an effective health cover. As I drove past, thinking about the best kind of health coverage I know, I found myself mentally changing the advertising caption to say "Health cover—God's own realm." Having relied exclusively on God to maintain my health for most of my life, I knew that the best assurance of freedom from illness comes from God, divine Life, not from an herb or vitamin capsule.

From then on, each day as I passed the sign, I declared that my health cover, or protection, existed in God's own realm of spiritual perfection. God is the source of all good. He made His entire creation like Himself—spiritual, whole, and well. Understanding that we are His children helps us defend our health. We learn that our well-being is from Him and protected by Him.
