It's a Law! (or is it?)

The forces that maintain harmony in the universe are spiritual.

MATHEMATICIANS, PHYSICISTS, CHEMISTS, meteorologists, and other scientists spend much of their lives searching for, testing, and utilizing the laws governing the physical universe so that they can help humanity. The search pays off in practical terms through useful inventions that make life better for everyone.

But how absolute are physical laws? Newton's doctrines were long considered the basis of classical physics. Twentieth-century developments in quantum mechanics, however, are now challenging many of these classic concepts. The once basic atom, for instance, has given place to particles so minute that they cannot always be located and are described in terms of force or energy.

Experts are still attempting to understand matter and material actions and reactions. But more and more people are sensing that there is a less material way of looking at the universe. They wouldn't necessarily put it in spiritual terms, but that's what it is, and during his remarkable life, Christ Jesus was able to prove that God's laws supersede material laws.
