I wish to express my delight and thanks for the October 4 issue of the Sentinel highlighting the life and work of the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy.

I rejoice in the timeliness which this tribute to her fills. Many are asking "Who is Mary Baker Eddy? Why do we not know more about such a distinguished American religious leader and her works?" Now such inquirers shall be informed, and truthfully.

Your work goes on from issue to issue of the Sentinel, fulfilling Christ Jesus' request made4 to Peter: "Feed my sheep" (John 21:16). We, the readers, are deeply grateful for your accomplishments in your ongoing common mission.
