Part Of Our continuing watch for young people doing interesting things: Some months ago, these teenagers in a Sunday School at a Church of Christ, Scientist, in Naperville, Illinois, formed a Youth Organizing Committee and began to publish their very own "zone," appropriately called "Church Zine."
Among other things, the newsletter features puzzles, information about upcoming activities, book reports, testimonies of healing, and interviews with adult members about their church assignments and how they do them.
"In Medicine We counterpose matter with nothingness in our concept of death. Death, we say, is the equivalent of an empty, lifeless void. Yet nothing in the whole of modern physics justifies this view. The void is charged with invisible potentials just waiting to happen. ... Even from a materialistic point of view, then, there can never be an end to ourselves—only a transmutation."
