The Bible's promise: God guides your speech and conversations
"Go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say" (Ex.4:12).
These Words Are ones the Bible tells us God spoke to Moses when He was giving him an opportunity to make a radical career change: from shepherd to national leader of the Hebrew people (see Ex. 3:1-12; 4:10-12). How could he possibly feel qualified? Yet this promise was God's assurance to Moses at this critical juncture. Critical not only because the Israelites needed to be saved, but because unless Moses agreed that spiritual qualifications count over human ones, he would not be able to fulfill his mission.
