JOBS

new job, new skills

About two years ago, I went to a summer camp. I had gone to Sunday School for some time, and at the camp I began studying Christian Science more.

Soon after that, my church offered me a part-time job. In that job, I've had to learn a lot of new skills. Most important, I've learned patience. I have to deal with many different people, with different opinions on how to do things.

I've also learned to stop worrying and trust God more. Sometimes people call the church and want someone to pray for them. I'm tempted to feel anxious about this. But I know God is always present. So His help is always at hand. I've learned to recognize the power of the Christ at work in people's individual lives. I now see that we're all in the arms of our Father-Mother God.
