Cat back to normal

My sister was selling plants to help pay for a trip to New York. So my mom bought one from her.

We heard these plants are poisonous to cats, so when we got it we put it in our bathroom and kept the door shut. Every once in a while we'd forget to shut the door, and my cat would go in there, but most of the time he wouldn't get into the plant.

One day my mom knew he had gotten into the plant. He wasn't eating or moving around much. When I got home from school, she told me.

At first I didn't think much of it. I just thought in a day or two he'd be over it. I tried to pick him up, but he would meow every time I tried. When I tried to give him food, he wouldn't eat it.

After two days of this, I started to worry because I had lost a pet before.

So the whole family started to pray. We knew that man, woman, beast, and plant are all ideas of God. Also that the plant and the cat represented qualities of God, which couldn't harm one another. Both reflect God and have to be beautiful and harmonious.

Whenever we left the house to go somewhere, we would put on a tape with hymns for him, so he could listen to ideas about God.

The next day, when I came home from school, my mom said that my cat had been drinking some water that day. I thought that maybe he'd eat something. So I got some ham (which is his favorite thing to eat). And he gobbled it down.

That night I knew he was back to his normal self because he was running around and playing. I was very happy that he was better. And I had a clearer understanding about how God has made everything good. :)
