God inspires me to write songs

Music is a very important part of my life, and so is Christian Science. When I play a song on the piano, I feel close to God.

Music can be a way of expressing God's ideas. It can help us feel connected with others. It helps us feel calm.

One thing I do when I write songs is to sit down and have a quiet moment with God. I think and receive. Then He inspires me to write the songs. He gives me the ideas. I just write them down.

When I listen to music, I'm really looking for a better understanding of God. Music frees the soul. It's a great way to get close to God. :)
