God—always there to help us
In troubled times I know that I
Can always turn to God.
He's always there to comfort me,
And tell me I'm not odd.
He'll never say, "Just wait a minute,"
Or, "I'm in the middle of My tea."
I know that He will never say,
"I've someone else to see."
God has always got time for me.
He wraps me in His care.
He makes me feel so safe and loved,
Knowing that He's everywhere.
And since I'm sure that God is Love,
It's really very clear
That what seem to be my problems
Are nothing I should fear.
Perhaps one day the world will see
What I can see today:
That God is always loving us,
And He'll never go away.
