Child's neck injury healed
One Saturday morning I was staying at my grandmother's home whilst my mother went to work. As I was brushing my hair I discovered a big knot. When I pulled back to get the knot out, my neck cracked. Screaming in pain, I rushed out to the kitchen, where my grandmother was, to find comfort. Straight away I knew that God's love was with me.
My grandmother sat with me for a while and sang a hymn from the Christian Science Hymnal that begins, "Still, still with Thee" (No. 317). We stayed quietly together for a while longer, listening to a tape of hymns. I started to feel much better, but I was still uncomfortable when I tried to move my neck normally.
