Spiritual insight results in healing
I was asked to conduct a funeral service for someone who had been attending our church. At the time, a pain in my shoulder had persisted for many months, and it was not possible to use my arm properly.
What I read for the service was from the Bible and from Science and Health. The subject was the Life that is God and took as its foundation the verses from Deuteronomy in which God sets before us good and evil, life and death, that we should choose life that we may live (see 30:15–20). Science and Health tells us, "Life is eternal. We should find this out, and begin the demonstration thereof" (p. 246).
