Dear Sentinel
I sometimes get scared of things. But I like it when my mommy reads me the story about Daniel in the lions' den. See Dan. 6:1–23 . When Daniel was put into the lions' den, he wasn't afraid of the lions. Daniel knew the lions wouldn't hurt him.
Here's a picture I drew. I drew a bowl of food and a bowl of water, because I think that's what the lions really wanted to eat. I think Daniel knew that he was really the spiritual idea of God. And you can't eat an idea! I know I'm the spiritual idea of God, too, so nothing can hurt me. That helps me not feel scared.
Thank you for the "Dear Sentinel" letters.
Aloha,
