This issue includes the first in a series on "Spirituality & Healing in the '90s." It spotlights the second symposium on "Spirituality & Healing in Medicine" sponsored by Harvard Medical School. The symposium was attended by more than a thousand people. Among those invited to speak was Virginia S. Harris, Chairman of The Christian Science Board of Directors. The meeting and Mrs. Harris's remarks are described in more detail in the "News & Trends" feature, which follows.
In addition, you'll find an article that speaks about how to prepare spiritually for healing. The author proved the validity of these ideas through the rapid healing of an injury that occurred when an ax slipped and struck his hand.
