STANDING WITH GOD AGAINST CRIME
What does it take to eliminate crime? Some studies claim that more prisons and tougher sentences will do the trick. Others argue on behalf of more police and additional laws. But implementing any large-scale policies or programs is more of a group response than an individual one. That doesn't mean each individual's choices and efforts aren't important, however.
The examples of the authors in the following section reveal the value of individual spiritual courage coupled with a determination to see the power of God as ever present. Reports in our sister publication The Christian Science Monitor, which has been reporting for some time now about "Safeguarding the Children," seem to confirm that these individual efforts, when combined in a community, do make a major difference.
