In gratitude to God I share the following healings, which have proved to me His love for everyone.
During eighth grade I began to have frequent bouts of depression. Many times I considered and even planned suicide. At this time my parents were teaching my brothers and me the practical use of Christian Science. We were also attending Sunday School, where we were learning about the scientific relationship of God and man. Through this understanding we had a number of healings. I felt strongly that by my turning to God in prayer the depression could be healed as well.
It was hard for me to communicate my problem, but there were a few times when I was able to talk with my mother about it. I was praying for myself and studying daily at least part of the Christian Science Bible Lesson. Some evenings I would read and reflect on the truths of God and man I found in Science and Health.
