Taking Primary class instruction, which I did recently, was a magnificent experience. Because the Christian Science teacher I wanted to study with lived across the country, I had to travel thousands of miles to attend her class.
The actual instruction was wonderful. There were several times, however, during the two weeks when various discomforts threatened to rob me of all the joy and blessing I was receiving.
The first Wednesday of class, I met several other students for dinner in the evening. We were planning to go to church afterward. During the meal I began feeling slightly sick. Instead of praying about this, I just dismissed the discomfort and thought about other things. But by the time we had walked to the church service, I felt worse.
