Unexpected holy places
Early, before a busy day had hardly begun, my wife and I drove to a nearby beach. The sun was just coming up, the air still cool, the waves slapping on sugar-white shores.
For all the outward leisure of that brief diversion, recent news events took our thoughts in other directions. Walking along, we found ourselves talking about a sentence in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. The sentence says, "What we most need is the prayer of fervent desire for growth in grace, expressed in patience, meekness, love, and good deeds." The last three words stood out.
Then we were caught short by the sight of someone who was lying thirty or so yards away. We quickly realized the person wasn't lying in a normal position. There was no movement.
