Family ties that bind and heal

Family harmony is natural, and it grows through a deepening perception of the relationship we all have to the one Father-Mother God.

Although I find the statement somewhat sweeping, I do agree that family relationships can generate disappointments and, in certain instances, deep-seated resentments and hurt feelings. In spite of this, there are many who would testify to strong affections and wonderfully rewarding relationships within the family.

How can we translate our dearest hopes about family into practical reality?
