As a lifelong student of Christian Science, I have had numerous healings through the study and practice of this teaching. I would like to share one in particular involving the birth of our child.

I will always be grateful for having taken Christian Science class instruction when I was about three months pregnant. The clear understanding I gained of God's omnipotence was my strength during the ensuing months.

An iron deficiency diagnosed early in the pregnancy was overcome quickly through prayer alone. My husband and I worked closely with a Christian Science practitioner whenever there was a need, and we studied the weekly Bible Lesson (outlined in the Christian Science Quarterly). Swollen feet returned to normal in one day while I was studying the lesson on the subject "Soul and Body."
