It was during the year 1954, when I was making a business call, that a woman offered to lend me a copy of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy.

I was the father of four children and had been wanting them to go to Sunday School to learn about God. I thought I should set them an example and attend church myself but had not found a church I wanted to attend.
