Important messages
Spiritual intuitions are important and always with us.
When I was in school, the principal sometimes would send a note for the teacher to read to the class. Maybe it said we were getting a new pupil, or maybe it said the class period would end early for some special reason. We paid attention to those messages. We knew they were always important, and often they gave us directions about what we should do.
Messages come in many different ways, in ordinary settings or very special ones, and at times that may even surprise us. The best ones, the most important messages of all, are from God. In the Bible these messengers are often called "angels."
When I've been in need, I've remembered the story of Hagar, who was alone in the desert with her son. They had no water, and she was afraid the boy would die. But God's angel called to her and said, "Fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is." Gen. 21:17. The Bible says that God opened her eyes and she saw a well of water right at hand.
