For over ten years I suffered from an abnormal growth accompanied by hemorrhaging. Medical doctors diagnosed the condition as a tumor in the uterus. This condition was first evident when I was just beginning my interest in Christian Science. However, I became so fearful that I consented to a medical operation.
After the operation I was told that I would be fine for a while but that within a period of time the growth would reappear and I would need to have another operation. The doctor urged me to have a hysterectomy.
As I left the doctor's office that day, I felt sure that I could be healed—through Christian Science. From that time on, I relied wholeheartedly on God for healing.
