The power of God's allness
What we understand about God doesn't have to be complicated—if we really do understand it.
At times problems can appear overwhelming. I recall that many years ago several major difficulties converged on me all at once. There were serious family and career concerns. What more could happen? The challenges seemed overpowering.
I called a Christian Science practitioner to make an appointment to talk to her about the problems and to ask her to pray for me. When I went in to keep the appointment, almost a week later, I felt such an absolute sense of God's allness and such a total rejection of anything unlike Him that I knew I could solve the problems on my own with God's help. And I did! Within a short time each was completely healed.
What had happened? My glimpse of the absolute allness of God had enabled me to see that each of the things that was troubling me had to be unreal because it was unlike Him.
