I am writing this testimony to express my sincere gratitude for the countless ways Christian Science has blessed me and my family.

For a number of years I suffered from recurring attacks of abdominal pain. At first I would endure the pain and wait for it to be over. But as I became a dedicated student of Christian Science, when one of these attacks occurred I would naturally turn to God and pray to realize the presence of His love for me. I understood that pain and discomfort are never any part of God's plan for man.

The attacks occurred less frequently. One night, however, the pain woke me. I got up and began to read a Sentinel, and the spiritual truths in the articles and testimonies helped me to see that all was well because God, good, was with me and in control. There was relief from the pain at once, and I went back to bed.
