Trusting that good will continue to unfold
When we see buds on the trees we expect them to open! We can expect that good will open up in our lives too.
From a human point of view, life is a mixture of good and bad, ups and downs.
But how different is God's view; as the Bible tells us at the outset: "God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good." Gen. 1:31. And a psalm says: "The goodness of God endureth continually." Ps. 52:1.
What is this continuous goodness of God? How does it affect our lives? Why is it so important for us to understand it? How can someone suffering severe hardship see himself as not cut off from God's goodness?
