The first thought—all day
When our first thoughts of the day are devoted to God, we are better prepared to meet whatever challenges may lie ahead.
How does your day begin? It is customary for many people, including Christian Scientists, to start each day with God. This means that the first thing a person does is to spend some time in prayer and study. It is the best thing to do any day! And to get at it early.
Why?
It starts the day off by putting God at the helm of thought. It establishes an attitude of listening for divine guidance all day. Kept up consistently, this leads to healing, freedom from fear, and a better sense of direction—divine direction.
