My gratitude for Christian Science knows no bounds for all the...
My gratitude for Christian Science knows no bounds for all the healing good it has brought to me and my family. I wish to share a particular healing that has been a continuing lesson and source of inspiration for us.
When our son was in college he was in an accident involving his motorcycle and an automobile. He was taken to the hospital. My husband and I couldn't be reached quickly, so our daughter, when informed of the accident, called a Christian Science practitioner to help the family through prayer. The practitioner went to the hospital immediately and was there when we arrived. The doctor told us our son had suffered a fractured skull and numerous internal injuries. He advised that a brain surgeon stand by overnight.
My husband and I discussed with our son the option of medical treatment or reliance on Christian Science. Having experienced a number of healings, he asked to go home and rely on prayer in Christian Science.
