A Recent notice in the Sentinel inviting testimonies impels me...
A Recent notice in the Sentinel inviting testimonies impels me to share an experience I had some years ago. This experience was an impressive one to me because it was such a quick healing.
I discovered, to my dismay at first, that I was expecting our fifth child. After the delivery, a pediatrician came to me and said there was a problem and the prospects for the baby's survival were not good. He told me of the physical difficulties and said that I should not be too hopeful.
I had come to feel a deep love for this child and felt clearly that God was her Father-Mother. I was sure of the power of God to care for His own child. As soon as I had the opportunity, I asked the nurse to call my husband, tell him what the doctor had said, and ask him to relay this information to the Christian Science practitioner I had been working with.
