Unlimited treasures in heaven
There is no harm in having money and material possessions if we keep a right perspective on them. But we must evaluate them correctly or we may fall victims to the satanic suggestion that worldly riches have power in themselves to bring us satisfaction and happiness. They never can. One cannot buy the kingdom of heaven or lasting enjoyment of its treasures.
Heaven is a spiritual state of consciousness—the state emanating from the divine Mind—in which we feel the presence of God, infinite Life and Love, and His perfect universe, and gratefully know that we possess all the qualities of God as His reflection. This spiritual state of consciousness cannot be purchased; it is a gift of God. Everyone, in his spiritual being, is freely endowed with it by his creator and expresses it to perfection. Each is serenely conscious of the presence of affluent goodness and love, and rejoices in his own spiritual completeness in God's image.
Christian Science shows that through prayerful acknowledgment of these divine facts we all can enjoy the benefits of God's generous giving now. We can have a taste of heaven and its treasures here on earth, and never lack for any good thing again.
