One Saturday about five years ago, after working all week in my husband's office, I looked forward to spending the morning in my plant room, separating and potting African violet plantlets. I had been thus engaged for about an hour when there was a sudden sharp pain across my chest. I expected this to go away shortly and continued with my planting. But when half an hour passed and the pain had not abated, I realized the necessity to give my full attention to healing this condition.

I returned to the bedroom. By this time the pain was so intense I could scarcely breathe and could not get to the phone to call a Christian Science practitioner for help. But I was confident of being given the spiritual understanding needed to deal with the situation.
