Let's open our eyes with confidence
Sometimes the news we hear on radio or television, or read in the newspaper, seems rather depressing. Energy shortages, inflation, unemployment, vandalism, strikes and lockouts, seem to threaten us. Do we dare open our eyes in the morning and face another day?
Yes, of course we do. Although we may seem to be virtually surrounded by difficulties, let's open our eyes and see things as they really are.
These troubles are mortal beliefs that would hide the truth that God, the Almighty, really is almighty, that He has all power and is the provider of all good to His creation. With spiritual discernment we can look through adversity to the reality of God's omnipotence, just as Elisha the prophet once did.
