Many years ago I suffered from extreme weakness. In a condition bordering on collapse, I went to a Christian Science lecture. I took a seat next to a wall and leaned on it for support. Halfway through came the realization that healing had occurred. I had been acknowledging our Father-Mother's great love and asking to but touch the hem of Christ's garment—the genuine recognition and acceptance of God's healing power. At the conclusion of the lecture, I stood up full of strength and joy. There was a train to catch, and though there was no need to rush, I just couldn't help running. I was entirely free.
