The straight and narrow way

Doris Kerns Quinn

No twist in Truth,
no quirk, no knot;
straight, precise
to the last dot
is Truth.

No bending Truth—
no making do
with what was never
strictly true
will work.

Uncompromising,
Truth will beam
its searching light
on every dream
of flesh.

Since Truth is All,
we can insist:
no twisted untruth
can resist
straight Truth.
