A LIST
I plan for my future:
A college degree,
A house in the country,
One child—why not three?
A sports car, a yacht....
Wait just a minute!
One thing I forgot—
Father, I need You.
As a house must be built
With architect's plans;
My future is fashioned
By God's loving hands.
His will shapes my future,
My present and past;
He knows what I need
Before I can ask.
I tear up my list
for what have I gained?
Father, I have You—
My future is planned.
