Finding peace in consciousness
Perfect peace can be found within—by anyone. Why? Because in truth there is only one consciousness, one sense of life— the divine; because this divine Mind is All-in-all and man is Mind's perfect expression.
Mrs. Eddy defines God in Science and Health: "The great I am; the all-knowing, all-seeing, all-acting, all-wise, all-loving, and eternal; Principle; Mind; Soul; Spirit; Life; Truth; Love; all substance; intelligence." Science and Health, p. 587;
Since God is All and is good, how and where could evil— inharmony, fear, hate—creep in? Christian Science answers that evil exists only in the mortal sense of life. It is nothing more than illusion.
