To Have All We Need
We have all we need by being what we are. This is the law of God, divine Mind. God does not create poor mortals. God makes immortals, complete, spiritual ideas imaging Him and supported by Him.
"The divine Mind that made man maintains His own image and likeness," Science and Health, p. 151; says Mary Baker Eddy in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. Man is complete and satisfied because God always maintains him that way. This is why we don't, in reality, have any needs that are not already met. Christian Science, in claiming this, is not being simplistic but spiritually realistic. Lack is a belief in mortality and finity. As it's annulled by the spiritual truth of being, our experience—expressing our thought—improves.
If we feel poor, it is because we are not at the moment seeing that God is Mind and that He is producing an infinitely abundant wealth of spiritual ideas. These ideas are here to be accepted, demonstrated. The Science of Mind is the Science of infinity. Living this Science, we stop skimping along in the dreamland of finity. We begin claiming our full aliveness in the realm of infinite Life.
